3rd ANNUAL SUMMER SERVICE DAYS

Students, Alumni, Teachers and Parents Give-Up Summer Vacation for Community Service

RC’s 3rd annual Summer Service Days started each morning at 8:30 with everyone gathering for breakfast, followed by a morning prayer. Work teams were then sent off for the day. Work sites includes the Elizabeth Coalition For the Homeless, the Hillside Foodbank, St. Joseph's the Carpenter School, aiding local elderly people, as well as a number of needed projects at RC.
The work projects at RC included the removal of the second floor ceiling tiles, the painting of the baseball dugouts, the building of a new outdoor adventure project at the back of the school. At the end of each workday, everyone again gathered for a sharing of their day's experience as well as a great dinner! Gratitude to all who made it possible and who volunteered!
