Chris Clesca grew up in Union County, having been born in Elizabeth and raised in Hillside. He graduated from Roselle Catholic in 2006 and followed his high school career with a 4 year stint at Seton Hall University (Go Pirates!) where he graduated in 2010 with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Political Science. After Graduation, he spent a year volunteering with the Marist Brothers on their property in Esopus as a Marist Young Adult Volunteer. This time was spent working on retreat programs for multiple Catholic School, up keep of the property especially the residence of Holy Rosary, and aiding in Campus Ministry Programs for many of the Marist Schools in the Metropolitan area.
Following that year of service, Chris returned to Roselle Catholic while also returning to Seton Hall University to earn a MAE (Masters in Education with a concentration in Social Studies). Since returning to Roselle Catholic, he has taught various courses in the Social Studies departments while also being an active member of the RCHS community through Moderating the Digital Publications Club, Coaching Volleyball and currently Head Coaching the Varsity Boys Soccer Program. He has also taken on the positions of Director of Admission and Marketing at RCHS.
He continues his education in the Summer Months through various forms of Professional Development including Google Apps for Education Summits and Training as well as various Coaching Workshops throughout the year. In his spare time, Chris enjoys Photography, traveling, learning the guitar, learning to code, researching history and caring for his bunnies (Phife and Q, “A Tribe Called Pets”) and Guinea pig (DT).
