Jessica Santos was born and raised in Kearny, New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2010 where she majored in Fine Art/Photography and minored in French. While in school, Jessica studied abroad in Paris, France, where she discovered her love of travel and world languages.
After graduating from college, Jessica knew she wanted to be abroad once more. She accepted a teaching position from Lycée Francisque Sarcey in Dourdan, France for the 2010-2011 academic year. While there, Jessica prepared her students for the English-speaking world, holding mock job interviews, and using various techniques to help them perfect the language.
After returning to the United States, Jessica still wasn’t done teaching abroad. She accepted a job from Collegi La Merced in Barcelona, Spain in 2013. While living in Spain, Jessica educated her students about life in the United States and helped improve their skills with the English language.
Most recently, Jessica was an ESL teacher at the United Nations Education Center. Also an artist, she is a PaintNite instructor, proving that anyone is capable of creating their own masterpieces.
Jessica loves travel, art, knitting & crocheting, playing guitar, reading, and spending time with loved ones. She is an eternal student, always learning so she can bring her very best to the classroom.
