Linda Sees grew up in Wallington, New Jersey, a small community in the heart of Bergen County. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2009 with a double major in Political Science and Art History as well as a minor in General History. During her junior year, she studied abroad in Paris, France, and developed a deep love for European history. After graduation, she worked for an entertainment advertising company in New York City, but her passion was always in education. She went back to school and obtained her MAT from the University of Southern California in 2011.
Prior to coming to Roselle Catholic, Linda taught language arts and history at both the middle school and high school levels. She is the author of two young adult novels, Nebula and Interstellar, and most prominently had a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Clifton, NJ.
She continues her education in the summer months by traveling, teaching, and attending classes abroad. Most recently, Linda completed the Age of Lincoln Seminar at the University of Oxford in Oxfordshire, England through the generosity of the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
Linda is currently a history game creator for Kahoot!, an educational gaming platform. Students and teachers use her games in their classroom to expand understanding to each type of learner.
In her spare time, Linda enjoys antiquing, drawing, and has a deep interest in herpetology. She enjoys caring for her turtle, Michelangelo, her Bearded Dragon, Rumpsy, her Crested Gecko, Hoppy, and her Leopard Gecko, Jim.
