Pietro Ciliberto was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He attended Roselle Catholic High School and graduated valedictorian of the class of 1992. Pietro went on to graduate Villanova University in 1996 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he worked in the chemical engineering field for two years, but decided to redirect his career to education and become a high school mathematics teacher. He was hired as a math teacher by Roselle Catholic in 1998. The 2017-2018 school year will be his 20th year of service at RC. In addition to being a math teacher and the chairperson of the mathematics department, Pietro is also the moderator of both the RC Music Club and the RC Math League, two extra-curricular activities that he greatly enjoys learning about and sharing his knowledge with students.
Pietro spends most of his spare time playing music, going to concerts, listening to comedy, and reading and learning about science, technology, and politics. Above all else, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lisa and his dog, Abbey. He currently resides in Oakland, NJ.
