Degree(s): BA Seton Hall University
Tom Ferraioli’s career path has been a long and twisted path, similar to the Roselle Catholic labyrinth. He earned his bachelor's degree in 1993 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. After graduating from college, Tom continued his college job as youth minister for St. Francis Assisi Church in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Thinking it would only be for a short while, he has spent over 25 years as a pastoral associate and youth minister.
He and his wife were honored by the Archdiocese of Newark in 2010 with the Pope John Paul II award for their dedication to youth ministry programs in the Archdiocese.
Though working for the church has always been Tom’s main passion, he runs his family’s cleaning business and launched a freelance writing career.
Over 250 of Tom’s articles and essays have been published. He writes on a variety of topics ranging from Catholic, family values to business profiles for websites and publications such as the Houston Chronicle and the San Francisco Gate. He is most proud of his essays which have appeared in US Catholic, Saint Anthony Messenger and Parents magazines.
When he finds spare time (and is not walking his dogs) he likes to play board games with his wife and two kids (he is a wicked crokinole player - feel free to ask him how to play this Canadian game!).
