Physical Education Uniforms and Locks:
Physical Education uniforms are required for all freshmen and sophomores taking the class, and consist of two parts, a tank and shorts. The uniform is to be purchased through this link. Please note the deadline of August 5th! An appropriate basic t-shirt of any kind should be worn under the tank top.
At the same time that the physical education order is placed, locks must be ordered. Students must have an RC lock for their regular locker and an RC lock for their phys ed locker. Sophomores who already have RC locks from freshman year do not have to buy the locks again.
The uniform will be distributed in September during the first full week of school. The Bookstore has some uniforms available for upperclassmen who need them, but all freshmen and sophomores must buy the uniform and the locks online. The locks will be given out during the first half day of school.
A t-shirt should be worn under the tank. The t-shirt and the required socks and sneakers can be purchased anywhere.
RC Sweatshirts:
RC sweatshirts/hoodies are optional and available at the in-school Bookstore, which is open before and after school. At the Administrationβs discretion, they can be worn over the RC required uniform. However, the uniform must always be worn underneath. Additionally, only official RC sweatshirts may be worn. These sweatshirts are sold in person before and after school on a first-come, first-served basis.
Online Bookstore for Required Books: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
A. When students receive their schedules for September, they will also receive a list of required books. These books should be purchased online here. Please note that there IS a required student id code needed to purchase books from https://bnck-12.com/roselle. That code is 07203.
B. The list of books is also found here
C. Please note: Only the classes that require that students purchase books will be listed on the online bookstore website. Also, βCPβ means βCollege Preparatoryβ and is the standard class.
D. Please note: No used books are allowed. Also, no digital books are allowed. For some English classes, the teacher will allow online novels, but all vocabulary books, grammar books, the history book (for Honors Freshmen), religion books and Spanish and French
books must be print books (no digital books). Students are always allowed to borrow novels from a local library, too. Do NOT buy any books from another site: specifically, students who do not have the required edition of the vocabulary book will receive zeroes for their work. There are several versions of each vocabulary book, and the online bookstore sells the one that is required by RC.
E. Any other supplies (art supplies, calculators, notebooks, etc.) will be announced by the teachers on the first day of school in September. State textbooks will be given out at school.
Summer Reading Books must be read BEFORE September. The list of required books is here which can also be located on rosellecatholic.org under the βFor Students/Parentsβ tab. The books can be borrowed from a library or purchased at a store of your choice. Tests are administered the first full week of September.
