Athletic Hall of Fame nominations
Since their inception, Roselle Catholic High School and Girls Catholic High School held a strong athletic tradition. The Roselle Catholic Hall of Fame was established to permanently honor the elite graduates, coaches, and teams for their contributions to RC and GC athletics and their embodiment of the RC mission of being successful, responsible, and ethical citizens while a part of the Lions community and beyond.
Athlete Eligibility
Nominees must have graduated from Roselle Catholic or Girls Catholic High School a minimum of 10 years prior to his / her nomination selection.
Each nominee must have made a significant achievement in their sport at RC or GC.
Nominees must have exemplified behavior during and after graduation that is a credit and in accordance with the mission of their school.
Coach / Contributor Eligibility
Nominees can include Roselle Catholic or Girls Catholic coaches, administrators, and managers.
The nominee must have coached at Roselle Catholic or Girls Catholic for a total of at least five years prior to their nomination, and must have been associated with a team or program prior to a minimum of 10 years.
Nominees must have exemplified behavior during and after their RC and GC coaching career that is a credit and in accordance with the mission of the school.
Championship Team
Eligibility
Nominees can include Roselle Catholic or Girls Catholic teams.
The nominated team must have had an outstanding record or accomplishment such as state, sectional, or county championship or an undefeated season. The team must have competed a minimum of 10 years prior to the nomination.
Nominations:
In order for a candidate or team to be given the best consideration for inclusion into the Hall of Fame, it is helpful to provide the selection committee with copies of news clippings, yearbooks, certificates of award, and other documents in addition to the nomination information regarding the achievements of the athlete, coach, or team.
Any candidate or team nominated to the Roselle Catholic Hall of Fame, which is not inducted in any given year will remain nominated and given consideration for induction into the Roselle Catholic Hall of Fame in ensuing years.
Any member of the Roselle Catholic and Girls Catholic communities can nominate a candidate for Hall of Fame consideration.
